Your website is your projected image to the world, the shop window in which you sit, a statement about yourself or your business. To misrepresent yourself on the web with a site that visually underachieves is worse than having no site at all. Conventional websites are often poorly implemented and usually designed by 'technicians' with no artistic or design background whatsoever. I aim to show that web design can be an attractive, eye-catching and appealing medium. Colour, image, layout and tonal balance are all thoroughly considered. How many websites have you looked at where it is hard to visualise exactly what is going on. Annoyingly designed flash animation, logo's, advertising and large file sizes can all detract from the message that you are trying to get across. Simplicity is often the key to good design. A small site can be used as a 'business card' to interest and attract new clients without being too heavy on the pocket.
